    You are right something is wrong, it is not bolted through the brackets. After checking my parts and service manual it appears that my seat track is wrong. It should be a two piece assembly that allows adjustment, mine is just one piece. Thanks for your help .

    I feel like I'm sitting on the floor now, if I remove the spacers I won't be able to see over the steering wheel:grin:. I'm guessing the springs are so week in the seat that my butt is sagging too much.
