    No, mild steel and chromoly are very malleable. Choose the correct size “shoe” for the pipe you’re bending and it comes out perfectly.

    Find a local electrician and ask him to bend your stuff on a ridged pipe bending machine. I built a nice 10 point chromoly cage with a hydraulic conduit bender once.

    I have them on the 68. 275-60-15 400 miles or so as of now. They ride just fine. Even did 200 miles in a rain storm with no issues.
