I'm not crazy about the fat tires on the rear of cars, although I think a little wider would fill the wheel wells better. I will keep my wheels as long a I can for sentimental reasons at least. These wheels that came off a70 roadrunner that my father in law owned and they are not recommended for...
I seem to remember my Satellite came with Generals or something. F’s. Put on G’s and the fronts would rub on tight turns. Got these ralleye rims off a 1970 rr.
Well my pic wouldn’t load. Brochure copy here.
I don’t do the x thing, but do respectfully disagree. Back in the 70s if one bought 2 new feel goods, they would go on the front. Made the car feel new. Over the years, things changed (at least for us) and new tires went on the rear, at least for rear wheel drive vehicles. At Highway speeds, you...

I checked my Eagle and there's no air in it,so...
Appreciate it, but that was a couple months ago and I didn't take the old tires with me. I looked at my wheels and all 4 had weights on inside only and looked to be all about the same size (2 ounces), the car drives fine.
Got those blue letter tires on my car too. The cobras that I took off were around eight years old. I told the store manager to take one of them and mount it on my spare rim, because the Goodyear was over twenty years old. He came back to tell me that they don't mount tires that were over five...
Saw a commercial the other day, advertising a sale on Coopers, select tires. I went online and was surprised that the Cobras were among the "select tires". My tire guy was not aware of the sale, but he went online and found it and since his company matches other guys sales, I will be getting...
When I bought my tires several years ago, I had the choice of Coopers or BF Goodrich. They had the Coopers on hand and I asked to check the dates. I was surprised to see that they were only about 3 months old. I wonder if I should be looking into getting some more before they stop making them...
