Those chink points can go bad right away.Went with BW the 2nd time and all is good.Change to a good set of points and I bet the troubles will go away.

Pull the wire from the sender and ground it,if the guage goes to full the guage is good and you have a typical garbage Chinese sender.

I know mopar guys are a little **** towards chevorlet but.Most chevys from the 60s used a retangular front light and i am sure it wouldn't be to difficult to make work.I had many gm cars and the light mounts real similar to a mopar and they can be bought for a fraction of the overpriced mopar...

Fuel sender wire goes up through the trunk.Should be a hole near the spare tire mount then follows the tail light harness up to the dash.

I just rewired my BB mopar rod.With the newer electronic ignition, a orange or blue ECU box can be used and not a black 2 wire regulator and needs to have the correct newer style alternator.Worked for me.
