So the yellows are actually ground wires?With only 1 wire to the door switch,with the door open the switch is out and opens the curcuit and grounds it,correct?So is the map light just switched on and off with the black switch then or will it work either way with the door switches as well?

I just rewired my BB mopar rod.With the newer electronic ignition, a orange or blue ECU box can be used and not a black 2 wire regulator and needs to have the correct newer style alternator.Worked for me.
This Model A ford i picked up is need of some wiring help as its kinda a cobbed up rats nest.It has a 73 440 with stock ignition and alternater.What i need is a basic charging and starting diagram.
