Anyone want to make a few $$$s? Advice on Sniper install

Interesting. When I turn the key to "on", my voltmeter shows 11v on the single wire side and around 6v on the side with the blue and brown wires. That led me to believe power was coming from the single wire then going to the blue and brown. Of course, that's with the key on, not while starting...

Painting Engine bay...Primer or sealer ?

good prep and epoxy primer..... most epoxies can be reduced and used as a sealer; but sanded epoxy will make for a much nicer job...... you're probably gonna want to fill some pitted areas and other eye sores anyway........... the job is only as good as it's weakest link. Like anything else, you...

    Molasses cleaning

when I did the hood skin, it made bubbles under the plastic.........it was actually a year ago, so May; not overly hot, but certainly not cold....... anyway, the bubbles stopped after about 3 weeks, so I figured that's when it was done. I pulled it out a week later

Painting Engine bay...Primer or sealer ?

You can pretty safely paint lacquer over urethane but painting urethane over lacquer will not work. Without knowing what was used to black out the engine compartment (and a good likelihood it was cheap rattle can lacquer) I would be afraid to paint over it. I would sand as much of it off as...

Painting Engine bay...Primer or sealer ?

Can do it 2 ways, cheap and quick and hope fro the best ..... use a rattle can. what you should do is strip whatever is on there , at least the black . Degrease the hell out of everything. If you have a lot of bare metal honestly the best thing is to put a coat of epoxy down, but a good...

Painting Engine bay...Primer or sealer ?

You prep it the same as the body. If they did a decent job and their paint is sticking then just scuff it seal it and shoot it, but if they painted it black, that should tell you everything on what to do next

    Mopar 383 roller cam selection

DP's can give nice fuel mileage on the highway/autobahn. In town however, they do not pull good mpg numbers. Got to have a steady foot though no matter and they ain't too bad in town if you anticipate traffic stops etc. And wouldn't a high volume high pressure oil pump help in this situation...

1970 Coronet Wagon - "Queen Bee"

Well gentleman… I drove the wagon! Still alot to do before she has street manners. But i drove the car on her first journey. Roughly 30 miles on some back roads to our other shop in Johnstown. And got a wave from a dude in a yellow 70 GTX, honestly the best part was seeing 2 B bodies on the...

    Are you a narcissist?

Yes, I confess, I have an aversion to narcissists, especially those that are in denial. Is that a bad thing? Should we start a sperate thread to explore that condition? Any pertinent examples to support your implied claim of rationalization on my part is welcomed BTW.

Sucess is not always found with a degree.

Explain, because the definition of science is questioning, and why science constantly evolves, and facts are the best basis for that path. Indoctrination is best exhibited when that questioning is based merely on hard beliefs.

I prefer stock ride height when possible. I think it's easier on parts and your butt.
