    C-Body crash test

My roomate in College had a 72. A friend of ours had a 73 Impala which the transmission failed (I predicted it the first time I drove it). We used to cave in the side of the Impala just for fun. There were no visible marks on the Chrylser even after we pushed it 3 feet sideways. Call the...

    FOR SALE 1962 Plymouth Fury

Something interesting is the upper fender & quarter moldings - I've only seen those on '62 Sport Furys, and I think they were added mid-model-year, but can't confirm that. Cool car, and IMO reasonably priced - unfortunately, I just don't need another car.

Looking for Headliner, Plastic Stripes, Hold downs for 1968 wagon

I think REM is the manufacturer for the headliner - when I needed all the cardboard headliner pieces for my '63 wagon some years back, I got them from Jim Kramer.

62 wagon headliner conversion, got questions

No experience with a conversion, but I found the cardboard panels as a kit at Jim Kramer's company some years back for my '63.

Ideas on a larger capacity radiator.......

If the car doesn't have a fan shroud, add one - that's worked wonders for me. You can also speed up the fan with a smaller diameter water pump pulley. Air hitting the rad support area should ideally be directed solely to the radiator. I personally dislike add-on fans in front of the radiator, as...

Where did you and your car go today

I went to a local car show past Sunday. Some B-body Mopars there. A friend of mine recently purchased the AWB clone. He has been a GM guy, but just now dipped his toe into Mopar waters!

    SKIN CANCER IS NASTY STUFF

You never think it'll happen to you until it does. At least that's how I thought. Thyroid cancer, lymph node cancer and skin cancer all within 30 days of each other. I got through it. You will too. Good luck.

    C-Body crash test

So my Dad had both 1970 and 1973 Imperials. Weighed 200 lbs more than 3 Honda civics in the day. One day we were in the ‘70 on the 405 headed to LAX, and traffic started backing up. Then we heard screeching tires behind us and a ‘69 Ford LTD plowed into the back of the Imp. About 2 seconds...

    Road Runner Fuel Line

See post #4. The 440 and Hemi cars had the return line with the separator in 68-69, the 383 cars did not. In the last 50 years, some 383 cars have had the return line added. Most of the GTXs I've owned in recent years had it disconnected, with no separator. Significant improvement when I...

Ideas on a larger capacity radiator.......

He's not cheap, but not out of line with the current market for many of us. Compared costs with a fellow FBBO member who recently had his radiator re-cored by Glen Ray, no local shops available. I had my original done locally, at the last shop in my area that still does this work. We both...
