Yes, I try to be practical on my posts and going straight to some fix/solutions (if any), from my own point of view or even my own personal experience dealing with my car using my tools (meaning also knowledge tools too). Yes there is a lot of theory around, but ppl wants straight solutions and...
I saw this pop up the other day, I don’t watch the powernation shows like I used to, so I’m wondering if he got a send off. Most of the hosts don’t seem to tho.
Anyway he can probably do ok, I feel like he could bring the ‘professional’ car show vibe to YouTube and if it’s the same kind of...
The deal here is, last reply/quote/attack was a simply non sense/no real reason. Nothing theorical or electrical discussion by itself where we can be agreed or not, but just for whatever reason. @Kern Dog is on that thread and can testify it.
Yes, I would like a total block or access to my...
I've been using a RevNator for over a decade and have moved it between multiple Mopars. I've really liked it, I also would love to use an FBO box Don is about 30 min away from me in Cottage Grove. I had Halifax set up my fire core distributor it's been awesome. I drive my Belvedere quite a bit...
It's not about stupid replies in this case Tom. I've noticed for a number of years Bob Renton going after Nacho, rubbishing everything he says. Nacho is a helpful guy and knows a lot about auto electrics and the practical way of fixing things. Bob is just a theoretical know-it-all.
If it was...
Thanks all. I know it doesn’t look too too bad, but I didn’t want to put the the splash guard over it. Im not a welder, that was my dad and one thing he did teach me about car repair, so I'm looking for a welder. Any contacts for anyone in the East Bay, Hayward CA is home.
Normally I would say just scroll on past the reply. But in this case, I have noticed there seems to be more personnel attacks against everything you post. So I would say put the other member on ignore and then not worry about what they post.
I've always just used vinegar when it comes to calcium (lime) removal. Cheap and easy to get.
Poured many gallons of it in the water jackets on blocks over the years and let it eat on the lime that deposits on the bottom.
I've never tried any of the fancy products mainly because vinegar has...
If you IGNORE someone, the YOU cannot see their posts until you click to see them.
They can still see your posts. If you want, we can do a Forced Ignore. Just let us know. :)
...and I assume it is Bob..... I have conversed with him, and I have asked him to refrain from commenting on your...
That probably wouldn't be my choice. But everytime someone that you ignored makes a post you'll still see ignored. You just won't see what they posted.
I suppose we all have our favorites and those we wish would stop posting stupid replies multiple times daily. Fortunately they aren't on FBBO...
So, now I'm looking at this thing. I've got a 1969 18-spline and 1970 case and tailhousing to put it into. After a bit of playing around with it I have a pretty good idea of how it works! Looks like it spent a bit of time getting jambed into reverse. But, my novice eyes don't see much wrong.
I forgot I had to build a flange on each side at the roof connection....... by the time you drill welds and chop out little piles of factory mig, you're left with swiss cheese; so I learned to cut to the chase, literally....... chop it off and build new......... these quarters are not coming off...
