Loosen the 2 nuts holding the vent frame mounting bracket to the forward end of the door and push them outboard. Same with the track "fork" stud in the bottom of the door.

How to tell if early or late 69 super bee?

I’ve dealt with this question many times in the 1969 parts catalog working at the dealer. The question of early or late is, was the car built before or after 1/1/1969. Several parts in the 69 parts catalog ask this question.

    Smokey burnouts..

Finally corrected the stalling issue. There was a massive leak from the carb to the pcv valve. Replaced the hose and pcv and she's a happy engine for the time being. I also managed to finally find an 8 3/4. It's got a 489, 3.91 gears, suregrip and is in good shape. Plan to reuse my brakes from...

    Oh hell...

I replaced all of the lifters today with oem style ones. Engine is much quiter and the knocking has gone. However, during the break in period it backfired through the exhaust when I would get it up between 2500-3000 rpm. I'm wondering if it has something to do with either the MSD box or the...

Went to the track Friday. What should I try next?

Other than the1.53 outlier, the other three are within .015. Hardly wildly inconsistent..... I'm guessing the quickest/fastest pass was the last one? (best air?).

    1968 Plymouth GTX

Installed the passenger door hardware and glass but having some trouble getting it aligned right. The Service Manual says to lower window to 1/3 open and close the door. The problem I'm having is the top of the vent window frame needs to tilt in another 3/4 of an inch to properly line up...

Sucess is not always found with a degree.

Not sure I get your point. This isn’t about you - it’s about someone thought to be near the bottom of the gene pool actually stepping up and doing something good - and yes if she uses her platform to further a good cause, so be it. The bottom line is the result. I have less than zero taste for...
