69 Super Bee 383, Holley brawler kicked on linkage? Does this look correct?

I can't visualize a fix for your issue. I can tell you that I always throw in the towel when I have issues with the bell cranks. This is the solution that works. Expensive and worth every penny. BPE TorqueFlite Kickdown Cable Kit - Bouchillon Performance Engineering BPE TorqueFlite Kickdown...

Gasket for front backing plate to spindle - '70 Road Runner drums

I do have the round foam gasket that goes between the spindle and the backing plate. But does anything go in this groove on the backing plate? See attachment. If nothing goes in there, what is its purpose? Thanks!

69 Super Bee 383, Holley brawler kicked on linkage? Does this look correct?

Thanks 66Sat. The problem I'm having is I can't get any more downward adjustment when turning the adjustable end of the "downrod". It's bottomed out but almost to where it needs to be. So if the Holley adapter for the linkage just spaces the linkage over a bit (I think that's what I got from...

Who has dared to drive across country in a classic Mopar?

I was thinking along the same lines. Greg and I have both driven our cars down to Van Nuys and back, about 1,000 miles, with no drama. For me, the a/c would have to work and I'd want an amplifier for my head unit. But other than that, I'm confident that both the Dart and Coronet could handle...

The Elephant In The Room: unloading the load from a B-body.

Four guys walk into a car show and start to laugh: Mr. 6 Pack, Tom Hoover Jr. Big Ed and T-Can all got a good laugh when handling one of my aluminum featherweight door handles against a factory unit. Funny how weightlessness triggers a burst of laughter, particularly from drag racers. They know...

    Inner front fender crack?

I would weld it up soon if it was my car. It cracked for a reason, i.e. it was carrying significant load. That load has to go somewhere. Hopefully into something strong enough to take it.

Who has dared to drive across country in a classic Mopar?

I worked for the post office for 28 years and they have a training center in Norman OK. I made the trip From Idaho twice with the 78 trans am and once with the 73 Road Runner. Both have A/C and cruise control (I added the factory setup to the Road Runner). Here are a few pictures of the trans...
