So I did a little playing around with the timing and carb. I got it running the best its run since
the build was complete last summer.
So I was feeling like a tough guy and dumped the clutch and snapped the driveshaft up close to the
trans.
What is a good strong balanced drive shaft - factory...
Has anyone purchased one from PG classic? I did. It looks ok although made in China.
But there seems to be ALOT of fitment and drilling into the fiberglass.
Has anyone installed one of these?
What was your process of doing so?
Can you share the steps or any intel?
Thanks

has anyone ever used or seen an engine builder use some kind of substance that looks likes clumps of dirt
shoved in the water jackets or ports of an engine block or around the water pump?
It was light tan, looked like a dry clump sandy material. It's supposed to fill and very small pin holes...

My Superbee had a NOM 440 in it some time ago when I got it. It now sports the correct year 383 and the same 4 speed trans and bell housing and fly wheel which were mated to the 440. I went to install a mini starter last night and it seems the fly wheel sticks down to far and wants to be to...
My carb cable does not align correctly.
I was told this was the correct carb cable bracket
But the misalignment makes me suspect.
Does anyone have a photo of the correct big block
Throttle cable bracket?
Thanks
I wanted to touch up paint some areas on the block, which I haven't done yet. I painted the new throttle cable brackets and spring returns.
It turns out the paint I bought is more orange then the engine. The engine has a little more
slight tint of Red. Was there more then one shade or orange...
Is there a rubber boot that goes around the accelerator cable where it penetrates through the firewall? There is a reinforcing plate welded to the firewall that the upper bolts go through to the pedal assembly, but the actual hole for the cable is large and I imagine fumes would come right in...
So the drivers side gets the motor mount with the tubed sleeve. Does the orientation of the smaller motor mount bolts, which attach to the block matter whether the nut is on the inside or outside of the bracket? It's easier to crank tight on the outside, but not sure how Ma Mopar installed them.
