Found my 65 slip joint A727 cable shift transmission I been looking for, and I will need to put an overhaul kit in it and probably like to add a shift kit as well.

I am building a 500 stroked 440 for the car.
Interesting to retain the old school push button shift, but is seems like too much trouble to try...
440 over .30, 62 Belvedere 4dr, auto trans...............I want a good reliable street car, no drag strip duty. And I have a set of old school long ram manifolds I want to use.
I'd like to hear from those who have used an external oiling system for the RB engine. I am looking at a 440 block that has had the oil pick up drilled out at the wrong angle. Don't want to buy a boat anchor!
