1970 charger with a 383. I’ve taken the valve covers on and off and changed gaskets about 6 times now and I’m looking for this next time to be the last.
both valve covers were leaking from the rear of the block by the firewall so I pulled them off and replaced them with the cork gasket. That...
1970 Charger with 383. Wiring is in OK shape but never given me this issue before. Only thing I did differently before this issue popped up was drove over some rough roads and surfaces.
Got it home and went to start it a little later and the key went to start and voltmeter dropped to 0 but...
This is what my oil pressure gauge read on the freeway at 2300 RPM. It pretty much jumps to 80 any time I'm on the gas. Sometimes it goes above 80. Is this normal? Idle is about 20PSI. I know the motor has a more aggressive cam but I think that's about it.

Thanks

Leaky pinion seal on a 742 case 8-3/4. Got the seal at home. Do I have to replace the shims when I replace the seal? Or does it depend on the thickness of the seal? Sorry for the noob question... never done a pinion seal. I got the service manual for my car at home but I won't be back until...
Bought a 8.75 suregrip to replace the rear end in the ‘70 charger. Replaced axle seals and sealed up the pumpkin with some of the good gasket maker and no leaks from those parts. But the pinion seal seems to be leaking. Is it as simple as impacting the nut off with the yoke assembly, taking the...
ok I'm at a loss. I've searched the web. I am trying to adjust the shift points for my 727 so that I'm not revving so high. 1-2 gear is really screaming. 2-3 is just insane. I think I'm almost red lining the motor when I shift to third. I thought there was supposed to be some sort of linkage...
