My uncle is redoing the #'s matching 383 to his 1969 4 speed roadrunner. He had to bore it out .030 and is using SpeedPro L2315NF pistons. The original camshaft is no good, so he wants something a little bigger to replace it. Staying with flat tappet hydraulic. Engine will have stock steel...
Can anyone help me what these torque shaft may fit? I know the upper right top 2 are for A body, but not sure about the other 3. The top left one is 8 3/4" long. Bottom left is 7 3/4" and Bottom right is 6 3/4".
My dad just changed gears in his 67' Belvedere. Car has now has 3.91 gears with a 28" diameter rear tire. Speedometer chart shows he needs a 37 tooth gear. Is that correct for you guys with the same combination before he goes and buys a 37 tooth gear?
