I have my numbers matching engine for my 1968 Superbee and want to do a decent rebuild. I will be putting this back to stock but would not mind updating the internals for a little more performance.
Are there any good all around kits to do this or would it be better to piece this together...
I have been trying to find out why my car will not idle correctly. It revs good but runs very rough at idle. I started thinking about vaccum. I started spraying around the base of the car (new gasket) all was good, then started around the intake and the car would idle up so that is not good...
I have an engine that was attached to a four speed but I have an 727 auto.............does this matter. I noticed it has a bearing at the end of the crank that was four the 4 speed, do I remove that or just leave it there or will it not work for an auto? I don't think it matters but just...

Hey guys I am about to buy just a stock trans for my bee. (727 auto) I have a spare engine and I am going to run that one until I can get the others rebuilt so I will just leave those bolted together at this time.
Ok now to my question.........It has been years since I have swapped out a trans...
I am looking to replace my trans with a new one as I have a spare engine and want to save the originals for another day. It is a 727 auto (68 Bee) and was wondering where there is a good place to get one. Is there anone who makes one with overdrive or upgrades I should look for? Thanks
Where is the best place to get and new retaining nut and gasket. The one I bought from ebay does not even come close to being tight. This is for a 68 superbee with a 383. Does anyone know the size of the sending unit 5/16? Thanks
The kickdown linkage is not hooked up in my car (68 Superbee 383) and I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of a stock setup. I just bought a piece that I think I was missing to connect it to the carb but not sure. Any help would be great thanks Jim
