I know there has been threads on here in the past but no real answers so I'll ask this again.
Does anyone know of a power window kit (front glass only) that will fit into the 64 Plymouth Savoy doors, and maybe the factor door handles/mechanism??
Has anyone added the factory back up lights to a 64 plymouth savoy, belvedere etc on a car that did not come with the option? I was thinking of just adding some LED's in that area (my car is no where near #'s matching..anything) Can this be done or is it a completely different rear fascia...
Hi all,
I'm doing a build on a 64 pro street Savoy and would like some ideas for a console. I'm using a B&M star shifter and want to lose the "box" that comes with it. Not looking for anything period correct, if there was, but something fitting for the era of the car. I'm going with low back...
How Do I get access to the wiper control arm? I bought the period correct wiper arms but the db that had this car before had welded a 1/4-20 stud to one side and the oposite side is factory, but seems oddly short, so I can't mount the arm to that stud.....Thinking of replacing the whole assembly...
Does anyone have pics they can share of a Savoy or Belveder/Fury with a 5" max wedge and possibly the 3-1/2" that Sled City makes now. I understand there is a project car that MoparMuscle is doing with hte 3-1/2" but I could not find it.
I have a Ford 9" in the back of this Savoy. When I spin one wheel, the other spins the oposite direction. This means it's a limited slip diff??
That being the case, in a post waterbox burnout, will both tires spin? I did a burnout on dry pavement and only the pass side rear lit up.(then the...
I have a 69 440 that I just put new heads (906) on. when it warms up it will idle in neutral or park. Put it in gear and it dies off quick. at this point I have the idle at 1000-1100 rpm to hold in park/neutral when hot. Put it in gear...done. Is this a carb problem that has come up? Any thoughts??
What is a good rear ratio for streetability and good low end punch?
strong 440 with a TQ727, Ford 9",right now it has 3:15's. I was thinking min 4:10/11's. Not planning on alot of highway use so basically 0-speed limit ....quickly lol!
Opinions welcome
Never mind..... found anther post on the topic with the answers
Anybody know where I can find the paint code for the Blue colour the '64 Savoys came factory with?
I'd like to go back to the original except use a pearl base
Need some constructive opinions here.
Looking at a 64 Savoy. Car is solid but needs alot of tlc. This car has been set up as a Pro Street, full cage, 440 built by Johnny Cleavland in BC, TF727, ford 9", 4 link. Still has the factory bench and steel dash (which has been modified) newer GM...
checked out this 64 today. Needs a little tlc but other than that, a pro job at pro street set up. One concern was oil pooling on the intake manifold of the 440. It doen't appear to be from the breathers and it doesn't look like it would come from the rocker cover gaskets. Any ideas as to where...
Hey Folks,
I'm looking at a '64 Savoy that appears to be missing a couple of trim pieces that go around the head light area. Are these pieces (or any pieces/parts for that matter) still readily available and if so, can someone point me in the right direction?
I want to research this a bit before...
