Alright got a question for you racers out there anyone try using a 318, with 273 closed heart shaped chambers with kb399 dome pistons? Leaving the piston .010 in hole and .027 head gasket gives .037 quench which is good just wondering if anyone try this? Thanks
Alright kind of have a dumb question but I got a pair of small block heads and need to replace the guides. Does anyone know what guides to buy to have the machine shop install? They are the original cast in guides
If u were going to build a 318 would u just build the motor up with 10.5:1 CR, aluminum heads, air gap intake, header and exhaust, solid lifter cam 230 int 236 exh dur@.050 488/501 lift.
Or do all the same plus a 4" stroke scat crank and scat ibeam rods .030 over bore? Do you think it would...
