Has anyone tried using a buck voltage converter to power the dash gauges? I've seen the solid state regulators that plug directly into the circuit board, but it would seem that a buck converter could do the same thing for $6. Any thoughts?
I decided to install a set of original rocker shafts that I've had for about 30 years. When inspecting them, I noticed that the rocker shaft is not notched on the bottom of the end, but notched to the side. Does anyone know which way the notch is to be placed?
Can anyone tell me if there is a difference in the Hurst shifter bodies? I have a 6356 Hurst body that I've had for over 28 years. Will this work in a 69 roadrunner? It's allowing the shifter to hit the dash. I have the correct mount, but I'm using a 68-69 Charger console shifter stick. So now...
