I have a 77 Cordoba with a 400cid 4bbl. It runs good but when I'm going about 35-45mph and I stomp the gas, nothing engages...it just slowly accelerates. Shouldn't the passing gear engage? what could be wrong? is this an issue with the carb or accelerator linkage or is it the transmission?
