    MSD or pertonix distributor

    Looking at both of these for a mechanical distributor, both are adjustable but msd is a magnetic pick up and the pertonix is a hall effect pick up. Thoughts on either, I know a lot of people have the msd but has anyone tried the pertonix flame thrower distributor?

    ready to run or plain mechanical distributor

    Which would be better? I'm looking to get the one from custom wire set. They are a billet distributor and the nice thing is they use a oem cap. Just require a blaster 2 coil or a cd coil. Would like to know your thoughts on either options for the distributor.
