FOUND ‘68 Coronet Headlight Pedestal/Mount

Looking for a passenger side headlight pedestal/mount for a 1968 Coronet.

I just realized that the driver side (correct) differs from the passenger side, and the bezel doesn’t align with the mounting points, unfortunately.

Pictures of the driver side and passenger side for comparison.

Kinda looks like you have a 69 fender, the plastic "pedestals" for a 68 are available but the holes where they attach are missing..... And the whole plate is stamped differently....

What’s odd, there is a side marker, so I’m not entirely sure what’s going on. I’ll do some investigating this weekend.

Yeah. I was thinking maybe the 68 fender was damaged & someone found a 69 fender & welded in the rectangle side marker hole & cut the round 68 style hole....

I dug up pictures of my 68 & both fenders are like your drivers fender...

Thanks. That’s what it seems. I may be better off finding another fender at this point, as I was just going to start the final stages of the body work.

You might get lucky & find a damaged/rusty 68 fender you can get the headlight bracket from & graft it to your fender..
