‘72 bucket seats & rear seats $2700??

I just looked up 1972 Charger front and rear seat skins. $880USD, before tax and shipping. It's a reality of our hobby. Hell half the project cars you see are going for money they don't command, so getting nice parts it doesn't bother me to pay for.
You Canadians get screwed on stuff from the US.. Appreciate your cars even more when I see them cause I know what you went through to get them back to what they once were..

Agreed I guess I am spoiled with having nice parts, knowing people, knowing how to do stuff myself and being in an area where there are tons of parts available if needed..
You are spoiled. Your always finding cool stuff and you live by Carlisle.

For sure! Not far from the Nats in Ohio either! On another note You ever gonna make it out there again? I know it would be hell to get spots these days though.. Some people though.. :realcrazy:

Must be hiring brain surgeons to sew fabric at Lengendary. I paid $125.00 USD labor and materials at local upholstery shop for an A-Body Bucket. Granted it has less pleats and this is Mexico, but still ...

I sure hope to. I probably wouldn't sell but just hang out, have fun and buy a truck load the stuff.
I know exactly what you are saying..since you have not been there for awhile now. Remember when Thursday’s were the new Friday? It’s now Wednesday is the new Thursday…

Legendary cart total for bucket and rear seat foam, full set of covers, and two seat backs. $1756 after shipping.

Set of candidate front buckets: $500
Rear seat candidate (for non-Carlisle folks LOL): $100

$2,356 total…without professional recovering of the seats.

I hold my ground that he’s not that far off if someone was looking for a complete set to complete a project that didn’t have seats already, especially considering they are done and there’s no wait.

The last few years I got to the Motel 6 on Monday night and was set up on Tuesday. 2000 mile trip out there I was going to milk for all I could.

And he probably paid 400.00 in labor so the numbers are there if he started with nothing. Getting that back might be a different story.
