The last good WWI movie I saw was War Horse (2011). I didn't care much for Dunkirk.
Before that was Beneath Hill 60 (2010).

Looks good. I also liked War Horse, couldn't make myself watch Dunkirk. Seemed to make heroes out of surrendering troops leaving all their equipment behind for the enemy. Didn't Churchill comment about not winning a war by retreating?
