1962 Mexican Spec Plymouth Savoy - 51106N
Hello Friends
This isn't not the type of car I usually post, but I thought you would want to see it.
Here we have a 1962 Mexican Spec Plymouth Savoy 2 Door Sedan.
Under the hood is a rebuilt 225 slant 6 mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.
The car was born with a 3 on the tree but it has been switched out to a 4 speed.
This is a project although it does run and drive well.
The car is riding on 4 new tires.
Finding a real 2 door sedan is hard to do. Some people cut the 4 doors down to a 2 door.
Save yourself some work and buy this one.
This is a starting point for a Nascar tribute.
The car may have a little rust, but there is a picture of the trunk floor to show it is intact.
I had posted this car before but at that time is was primer grey and had no windshield.
Now a windshield has been installed and it has been painted red.
It will need interior work as it has only a drivers bucket. it does not have a back seat.
The car is ready for your touch to make it your dream car.
The good is the grille is straight and intact as are the tail lights.
Being a Mexican car is has a few Fury trim pieces on it as all the low line Plymouths did here.
A lot of work was done on this car to make it a driver but you can take it the rest of the way.
I have a video of the car driving if you want to see it.
The vehicle delivered to the Nogales border will be $7,999 dollars.
This includes professional transport from southern Mexico to my location then I will trailer it the rest of the way.
If you have any questions about the importation process, I will be happy to answer them.
You can see more Mexican vehicles at mexicanspec.com and if interested please read the Procedure link on my website to learn more.
