how do i remove the casing from the rest ? i want to put new seals in it

That is a TRW pump, remove the 3 bolts, take off brackets, pry the can off the cast iron pump.

what is a good tool to use once i remove the 3 bolts and which of the 3 bolts hold it together ? probably the single one on the back side ?

there are only 3 bolts. Take them all out to remove the bracket.

what is the best tool to use to remove the canister after the 3 bolts are removed ? screw driver or a sturdy metal putty knife

Do that and you stand a good chance of ruining the reservoir. Block of wood and a hammer, and work your way around.
