i am currently rebuilding my original power steering pump and what do i put on the 4 1/2 inch rubber o-ring that goes onto the housing and the canister as far as a sealer ? right stuff or just some type oil/sealer ? PM me your thoughts 1964 Plymouth Fury

I sent my 1964 pump out for a full rebuild. If I remember right it was quite reasonable on cost. It works great.. no leaks or issues. If you want more info let me know.

No sealer needed. I put a small amount of PS fluid on the can and surface of the o ring after it is in the groove, just so the can will slide on. Zero leaks.
