I currently have a pro street SS clone 1964 i have been working on and a few other RUNNING mopars that are hobby cars that i play with as time and money permit. I have been collecting pieces for the 64 for quite some time, it has a mild steel cage in it, ladder bars, Dana 60 5:57 spool. 16x33 weld wheels, Doug Nash 5speed, a two piece scatter shield Hooker 2inch headers 1969 k member. Mopar tunnel Ram w/660 holly center squirt-er carbs. I have a complete 1967 440 and a 1969 440 block that need a sleeve and a set of 906 heads. Sled city fenders, bumpers and tall HEMI scoop. 6al box, mopar performance dist. still need to do some work on the fire wall and wheel tubs then i can start body work.

The car looks good. Keep pics coming on progress.

Keep Going on the 64

I own one of these cars and I love it. Its a one year only model. Its unique and the only Plymouth without a cluster gauge set up. The dash, when restored to original, has a beautiful aluminum finish with four large round gauges. Mine is a Sport Fury with the very pretty deluxe interior in black for that year. In 1964 this car, with the hemi, ran 1,2 & 3 at the Daytona 500. Check the 1964 Daytona 500 You Tube video. Lots of rich Mopar history here. Richard Petty was kind enough to autograph the driver's side visor for my car. Totally cool. This model is much rarer than the later models that are :love7:mostly talked about here. When restored you'll have a great piece of Mopar history.

Good Luck, Curtis

That's a mean looking '64 - love it!

Here's a 440 with 906 heads living in a 65 Belvedere II. The sound makes me smile and the ride is even better. Good luck on your project and keep the photos coming to document your work.
