WTB 1964 Sport Fury 383 Hood Ornament

I’m pretty sure you can purchase the “383” label to replace the original.
 
A friend bought a new 64 Sport Fury with a 383. He scratched the numbers off the emblem and told everybody it was a 426. When I opened the hood I knew he was lying.

That's just weird..
 
The guy was a little bit of a BS artist anyway, but having a new car with a 383 and a 4speed it wasn't a slouch. And after the previous ugly cars that came from Chrysler the 64 Plymouth's and Dodge's looked a hell of a lot better.

You need to be careful. There are two types out there. The correct one is an embossed foil label and the cheaper one is a flat printed label. The first picture is the foil embossed one and Joe Suchy should have both in stock.
