1965 Dodge Coronet Console Top Plate

Can anyone tell me if a 1965 dodge coronet console top plate from an automatic work with a four speed shifter if I change out the auto shifter plate? Thanks for any help.

No! The plate will not work! Auto has the selector in the center cast in! the four spd. has the space forward and to the left of the plate for the shifter! You can use the bezel on either though with some modifications on the auto! If you can find a blank top plate for a non shifter (65 C-body usually) you can cut it to work for the four spd.
