1965 DRIVE SHAFT

HELP ! I need the length measurement center to center of u-joints on 1965 plymouth satellite big block ,727 trans. 742 rear and the front yoke measurement ,from end to middle of u-joint . Try this before and couldn't can't get any answers ? Have found two measurements for drive shaft , center to center u-joints , one is 53 1/2 inches and the other is 51 3/4 . Which one is right ? Thanks

Call Jason Lysinger @ Modern Nostalgia. He bought a 65' Belvedere from me a month or so ago.

Watch the front yoke. Current yokes aren't designed for 65 trans. The end of the yoke will contact the expanded area of the output shaft forward of the splines. Compare 66 and up picture. Current yokes need to be trimmed about .500"-.750".
