Saved from Holst's junkyard in Hebron Indiana in 1979 just before the car got crushed.
So it only saw exposure for 14 years.
Some pitting on both sides, more on the front side. $200
I tell stories as I sell because it's too important to not tell where things came from. There were several country junkyards south of me in the 70s.
Les Lawson's in Palmer, and Mr Holst's,
maybe a mile away. Poor Mr Holst died in a basement gas explosion in the farmhouse. The driver door in the avatar pic car came from Holst's, and the rare passenger side rear view...from a pale yellow '67 Belvedere II wagon. We spent as much time closing hoods and doors there as we did picking parts.
Satellite was Citron Gold, gold buckets,
heads gone, not really bad enough to be there. I knew it was getting crushed soon so I bought it. Sorry if this seems like commentary but it seems to me like essential backstory.
