Before there was an R/T, there was the 500.....I acquired this car over 30 years ago. 25 years ago I rebuilt the engine and installed new Legendary Seat Covers, then I gave the car to my beautiful bride. She drove it to work daily for 10 years then parked it & it sat for 15 years. The car is 95% original and 95% rust free. It has sat outside most of its life consequently the paint is nearly gone. That isn't rust on the roof that's factory red primer over a sealer.
Factory rear speaker option. I have an original Inland shifter (needs repaired) w/an nos lower boot. Ethanol fuel while sitting for 15 years dictated the necessity for a new tank; 20 years ago I would have cleaned it out myself but am unable to accomplish that now. Factory undercoat (thick). The original tank could be cleaned & reinstalled.
Original paint & glass (windshield?), no major accidents. Underneath side is the same condition as exterior. Radio worked when parked but it doesn't now. I have a correct carb & air cleaner but the carb needs work.
I could go on & on about the car but suffice it to say that generally it's the only survivor at cars shows. It draws attention.

I'm guessing it's a 383 and the original engine ? You say fly in and drive home so it's got no obvious problems such as brakes, cooling etc.etc. Just wondering cause you state sitting for some time. I'm curious/interested and sent you a PM
Thanks
