The car is a 1966 Dodge Coronet, red in color. It is a factory original 383 auto, AC with an 8.75 rear end. The guy I bought it from pulled it from a creek bed, so it has been under water since about 1974 which was the last time it was registered. I went ahead and titled the car. My shop supervisor and I tried to revive the 383 in the car to no avail. It's lock up tight and was raining water, oil and ATF out of the oil pan (rust holes) I have a proper vintage 383 that will be installed in a couple of weeks. The body and frame are in damn good shape considering being under water. All of the usual rust areas do not have rust. ie, floor and trunk pans. The hood is junk, but I have one to install as well as the passenger door and I may just throw on a good drivers door (just because I have them and they have the glass in them) The seats are junk but I have a connection on those as well. Other than a severely distressed windshield, there is not a lick of glass in the car. I'm fairly certain that I have all that it needs. It will be more or less a complete car and hopefully running by Spring.
I would be willing to part with it at that point for around 3500.00 or it can go now for 1900.00
Reason for selling? I have a 1970 Plymouth Satellite bracket racer, a 1971 Dart Swinger (also for sale) a 1967 Plymouth GTX 440, 4spd, Dana 60 car (some assembly required, and the Coronet. Something's gotta go! All cars are located in Billings, MT at our bus facility. I have a trailer that can go as well for an additional $500.00

OK- that's number 8.
I have been counding since 1987, and have seen 5 in the past two years.
They must be coming out of the wood work.
That's only the third one I have seen with A/C. Mine being the second.
The first one I saw with A/C also had P/W. VERY odd for a 440.
FYI, it is one of about 1679. Most 383 66 Coronets were 500 models, at about 3500 built.
I've now seen three 4 speeds and five automatics.

You might want to think about shooting something inside the frame rails and even inside the body (doors and quarters), as 1- that body style can start rusting from the inside out, and 2- bringing something out from under the water after a long time tends to change the way decomposition occurs.
