Anyone have a 10" drum and hub for sale for my 66 coronet?

I have a hub.......not sure if I have a drum tho.

Fronts. The hub I have has a wore out stud hole and the drum is junk

I have some. but they are the only things I have to get my 5th Ave parts car to the scrapper, since I took off the disk stuff. I'm sure shipping would be quite pricey. The left one even still has 4 LH studs.

BTW, I discovered that the studs appear to be different from front to rear.
I had originally intended to keep the LH studs, but when I removed one from the drum (in order to try to install it the a disk), I found I could not install a stud from the rear axle flange into the drum (so I could put at least 3 righties on the parts car).
One stud was slightly longer and the splined area that holds it in was a slightly different circumference. These were studs from the same car.
I wonder what the purpose of that was?

The studs ARE different from front to rear. The front studs are designed to hold the drum onto the hub and the rears are not designed that way.

Thanks for the offer. Cranky is right. The front and rear are different. I am looking for a hub and drum that are pretty stock. I have a hub now with a loose wheel stub. I am trying find soething that is in really good shape. If yours is in good shape, let's keep talking.

I generally don't mind if the studs hold the drum on or not. Makes it easier to check the condition of the brakes that way. So long as the shoulder on the studs are still in good shape. Besides, the hub is supposed to center the drum and not the studs. The studs just hold the drum on when a tire is changed. Btw, I sent you a PM on a good hub...

Thanks Cranky. I also agree about the studs holding the drum. I usually grind the drum around the studs so that I san pull the drum off and leave the hub. I will read my PM and get back to you.

drum

Where are you located at, got hubs, most my drums are11x3, but might have a 10 inch drum, have to look. Jeff.
