I have a stock Kelsey Hayes power drum brakes single cylinder that has to be rebuilt for sure.
Rebuild looks like I can do, but locating parts, build SS tools, ect..
Thinking about just purchasing a new booster/master.

The car has been converted to front disc and rear drum.
Classic has them for sale double cylinder for around $200.00.

Any input on what to look for.

I understand that new lines, metering block/porportioning valve are next.

If it has been converted to Front Disc -- Rear Drum ---- then you do NOT need to rebuild any single
master cylinder out of a '66 --- it will NOT work with what you presently have on the car....
And the replacement master cylinder is FAR less than $ 200.00.

My stock 67 11" non power drum master cylinder works fine with 73 New Yorker front discs/ rear drum
I installed smaller wheel cylinders in the rear
adjustable proportioning valve was in the plan but turned out not to be necessary
yes the reservoirs are the same size so just check/ change the fluid like you are supposed to
