I have owned my plymouth for 8 years, I restored it once with my dad when I was in high school and it was still his. While I was in the army serving in Iraq I lent my car to my brothers (who were in high school) they thought it was the general lee, they jumped it, they blew the engine, it was a sad day when I came home expecting to still have a car and I found it parked in a dirt lot chewed out by rabbits and not even able to turn over.

So I finally have the money together to re-restore my car. It was a 273 with a 904 trans but after searching for a few months I decided to move to a 318 with a 727 trans (yeah no more points and condensers!), I have almost everything reassembled again, the radiator is being rodded out and we (my brothers agreed to volunteer their time if I bought all of the parts) have to adjust the driveshaft length from the change in transmissions. But that is the last of the big stuff. Now it is just installing all of the new wires (had to rewire it due to the damn rabbits) hoses, belts and gaskets.

Some jerk decided to come into our yard and try to steal metal off of the car, they attempted to rip off the muffler but it stayed at least partially attached, they stole my hood ornament, my faux gas cap emblem, the baby moon hub caps, and tried to pry of some trim and the head light casing... jerk.

So I am trying to find the little things that were stolen. And get my car up and running again.

I am a SoCal girl by birth and choice; but I am currently living in Nor Cal I find the climate tolerable and better then most of the other states and contries I have lived in, but once a san diegian always a san diegian...
