it is originally YY1, I have replaced the rear qtr metal with what was available. the curves back there are not perfect. maybe I should have invested with an english wheel and learned how to use it!!?? ha

I have never been into "show cars" I like them rust free and driver quality paint. that's where I am headed here. the interior is L1T, the brownish door panels are like new. but i'm thinking I will like "beige" better than its original tan and the beige won't show the lack of perfect body lines like if I went with a darker color. I have couple white cars and a gold one, so I really don't want another white or gold one!!

any opinions.??? this car will just be a 400 low compression fun cruiser. just what I like!

You are correct...lighter colors are much more forgiving of your imperfections. Sounds like you are headed in a good direction.

I agree with that. beige. but it will be just a " wannabe " look the part deal!!! last one I had (before I rolled it) was a 66 coronet post car) I put the sled city low profile hood scoop on it and loved the theme. I always paint my cars with acrylic urethane, as I generally don't care for the overly glossy BC//CC stuff, BUT with the beige being SOooo plain and no metallic in it, maybe I will go BC/CC .... I love white cars but have 2 of them already.
