1967 Charger

Hello.

I possess a very fine 1967 Dodge Charger. 383 4bbl 2.94 sure grip 3 speed. Nothing is operation. Functional, yes. I've got the engine and trans out and am in process of getting the block prepped. It's a 48 year old car that needs love. It's not in the greatest of shape. Some of the chrome trim needs help, and of course the tail light lens and headlight motors need located too. Mild to wild is where I'm going with the rebuild. It may eventually end up with a 8 sec. NRHA roll cage and a Super Stock package if I get lucky and the FedEx guy drops off a mystery crate from Donald Trump's car collection. We have a long way to go. Hopefully, we can be driving before October.


I spent the first fifteen years of life in a hot rod shop. Finally have a bit of liquidity, and tucked this little gem under my arm and here we are. If you need original parts, I might have something willing to let go of. Right now, I'm holding front drum brakes, the front carpet and hemp backer. I can provide a picture of the original white seats. I will entertain any and all comments, offers or criticism. Thank you for providing this opportunity. This is a worth while forum. I purchased and rebuilt a pro street charger as well. I don't know about you, but I did not research this car before buying. We choose one of the most expensive chargers to rebuild and parts are very hard to find, before you go selling anything make absolute sure that you will not need them. Just my opinion. In your post you said something about liquidity, you will definitely need it and then some. I almost gave up on mine getting frustrated trying to find parts, just keep trying and seek help from this forum, the guys on here are very knowledgeable and willing to help. Just ask. This is the one I am finishing now, 1 year and 8 months later, with working full time. This started with a floor patch that previous owner butchered. Good luck and keep us posted of progress.

Hey welcome from a somewhat newbie.... I started to buy a 67 Charger, but some rust issues drove me towards the 68 Sport instead. the 7 chargers can make some cool cars and seem to me to fair well with the mods more so than other models.

I'd like to know what things have been modified for quick release and secure "in n out" engine repair
looking for front engine brackets ie, alternator and power steering pump
a significant throttle device is also necessary
