I have a question and since my car is in storage for winter I can't check for myself.

On a '67 Coronet, the top part of the door panel on the inside is metal, does this part come off? Or is it just the vinyl section (in the middle) that can be removed.

the top 'part' of the door panel is actually a retaining strip, chromed metal, which is able to come off , as it is screwed onto the Door.

Ok, i just took mines appart yesterday to reupholster, it turns out the the thin (1") metal strip on top of the panel is just pressed in on to the panel itself, yu can take he door panel appart, it has about 16 clips around and the. You gonna see 2 spots where that metal strip was crimped on; just pry thAt open and remove

Does anybody have a source for these? I am looking for a replacement set for the doors on my `66 Belvedere II. They don't seem to come on repop door panels (ie: Year One, etc.)
