My wiper motor is not working. I have power there but not turning. If I leave it on the motor gets hot after awhile. So a good friend of mine rebuilds electric motors for a living and is going to take it into work and fix it. The question I have and its been years and years since I pulled a windshield wiper motor, once it is pulled should you not be able to put a wrench on the output shaft and turn it? On mine it will not move at all. So was wondering if maybe it is a seized gear box and not the motor.
