FYI there were 2 dfferent styles used in 68. One that is like 69-70 that pulls out and one with a padded frace that slides down.

Early models like my Sep 11 SPD had the slide down one. I don't know when the change happened

I was looking for a slide down type.

I have two 68 cars and one has the slide down and the other has 69 type ......I assumed the car with the 69 type had the wrong one put in by someone.

In a way I would like them to match anyway so if someone has the slide down type for sale. ....I'm all ears. ... thanks

The slide down type also has 2 different pads, one for standard dash and one for Rallye dash applications. PM sent
