I have restored a 68 charger grill. I used all of the parts that came off of. The only new parts are some of the screws.
Everything has been, blasted ( not the plastic) cleaned, painted and put back together. This grille is in very nice shape. I would say its an 8 out of 10, more than a driver, but not a concourse piece. On the metal frame there are some small pits and some REALLY small scratches on the chrome trim, I had to get about 8 inches away to see them. I have also installed brand new halogen headlights.
Otherwise I think it is really nice piece.
I will not be able to ship it because of the time and labor to make a wood box for it, so it has to be pick-up only.
$2200. I figured I would start here before going to CL and Ebay. ( BTW, the right side door has been changed since I took the picture, I put in a 69 by mistake and when I found out I put the 68 that I had with it.....it was just a long day and did not realize it, but it is fine now)
