This auto has no engine or transmission.
This is a project car and needs total restoration. Once complete you could easily command $30,000 for this car. I sold a 1969 partially restored about 10 years ago for $17,000. These cars are rare.
The original vin number reads as follows:
Vin Code #XP29F8D280798, Model Year – 1968,
Dodge Charger, Premium, 2 Door Sports Hardtop
Originally this car had no registration, but I paid $200 for an official NY State registration. This can be transferred at time of sale. These older cars never come with registrations or any papers.
Here is a little info on the car..
I bought this car from Minnesota 6 years ago and had it shipped here. Cost me $3500 with the shipping. I was going to complete this car and originally had all the sheet metal, but I became suddenly unemployed a year later and put the brakes on this project. I was never able to re-coop, so I started selling off the sheet metal replacements for the car to pay bills. The car has no engine and tranny. The floor boards are mostly intact but do need some sheet metal. The quarters and fenders could use replacement, but could be repaired as well by a good body shop. Trunk floor needs to be replaced, but the frame, rear, suspensions are in ok shape. As you can see it includes rear seats, one front seat, shifter, has no console, but dash is intact, hood trunklid roof doors in good condition, also have two spare doors as well.
