The hunt is still on for a 68.. I though Texas and Oklahoma would be ripe for a good project but so far no luck.. I had a line on a nice 383 car out of Tulsa but the seller backed out. I know mine is out there somewhere. I have a budget around 20K give or take..cash in hand and ready to buy. Let me know what ya'll got.. Thanks!

Welcome aboard
Thanks for joining the forum.

Ten to twelve 1968s for sale right now on: Cars online.com
That is excluding the Hemi cars...too much money.

Good luck!

Thanks for the welcome. The chargers on cars on line are a bit pricey for me. Will look into Utah car when I get home. Thanks again!

Still looking fellas... I've gotten a couple responses but all are a little outside my budget. I've got 20K hidden under the mattress, sittin in Oklahoma waiting on the dream. Hopefully the next time I post will be with a picture. cheers

Thanks!
Nick

The search is over! Found a super solid 69. Originally silver with black tail stripe with black vinyl top and interior. 440 and 727 in the bed of the truck ready for a quick rebuild and install. I guess my next stop is the charger discussion forum!

first you have to let us see your new purchase :headbang:

Dark in Oklahoma now.. More to follow.

congrats that looks like you have a good one to start with very nice and that's a nice color combo to :headbang:

It is. I love it. Will need a little sheet metal work but nothing too major. All the nickel and dime parts are present as well so that helps the wallet quite a bit. Going to tackle the drivetrain first and then dig into the bodywork.

good luck and keep us updated with your build :headbang:

Very nice! Congrats on your find! Keep us posted
