1968 Dodge Coronet 4 door 440 trim 318 with A/C. 81,181 miles (I assume odometer has rolled over at least once in 55 years)
I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle.
Original owner passed away in 2019, his widow knew very little about the car other than her husband bought it new in Texas in 1968 and had it painted and put new wheels on in 1974. She also said it was not his daily driver - that he preferred to drive his older Plymouth Valiant.
Not currently roadworthy but can be ready to drive with minimal effort. Last on the road in 2019. Last started/idled March 2023
The Good:
all original, numbers matching
New fuel filter
New battery
Frame rails good
Engine is sound and runs well
Upgraded AMC Hurricane wheels circa 1974
The bad:
Needs fusible link
Needs front floor pans
Needs brakes and tires
Needs trunk seal
Needs headliner
Needs paint/body work (last painted 1974)
Front bumper is off, but i have it
I also have the "D" that is missing from the rear. (It is the original lettering from 1968)
If you have any specific questions or would like specific photos, just ask.
