Mostly original all numbers matching '68 Coronet 440 with 86,250 miles. 318 engine, 727 torque-flight automatic transmission, 8 3/4 rear end w/ 2.76 gear ratio (742 case), power steering, manual drum brakes, column shift, bench seat, non A/C car. Numbers on VIN, radiator support, and trunk channel all match. Has fender tag. Current PA title in hand. Also have operator's manual, service manual, and original (partial) build sheet. Not happy about selling, but life's getting in the way.

Upgrades include Edelbrock Performer 4 barrel carb and intake, headers w/ dual exhaust, electronic ignition, new coil and ballast resistor, new master cylinder, all brakes and drum hardware re-done, new E-brake cable, restored magnum wheels w/ Cooper Cobra radial G/T tires, aftermarket radio w/ cd player (have original AM radio) and '69 hood w/ scoops. All fluids and filters changed within the last 2 years. Previous owner re-wired everything, installed headers as well as additional cooling fans by the radiator and stated the trunk floor was re-done with epoxy coating prior to his ownership (and it is still in great shape). He also told me the engine had been rebuilt with a mild cam by a former owner many many years ago, maybe in the '90s?? Original color is silver (AA1), but someone painted it red long ago including the engine compartment.

The car has been garage kept for the last 7 years (since I've owned it) and hasn't seen a drop of rain. I may have put 1,000 miles on the car, if that, since 2018. Body is pretty straight, but has its share of dings and minor dents here and there, but nothing significant. Originally a vinyl top car, but someone removed it and tried painting the roof black. No rust/bubbles anywhere on the roof, drip rails, or rear valance. Where there is rust is a bubble about 2" round on underside of the driver side rocker, some cancer at both rear quarters around the wheels where prior rust had been grinded out, and of course the trunk lid lip needs attention. Also a small patch of surface rust at lower driver door corner. I have included pics of all these areas for your reference. Frame is good all around as is the firewall, floor pan, and undercarriage. Gas tank is good. Front and rear bumpers ok, but have surface corrosion. Engine runs strong. Oil and transmission pans have slight leaks as does the differential. Power steering reservoir also leaks. Transmission slips a little when warmed up and was on my list to have rebuilt just never got around to it. Interior in decent shape — Carpet, seats and headliner appear to be original. Small tear in the vinyl on the drivers side bench. Headliner excellent condition, but there is a puncture/tear at the passenger rear corner near package tray (see last set of pics). Dash and gauges in good condition, someone did install a dash pad years ago. Gauges, switches, and all interior and exterior lights work.

I had also planned on upgrading the front end suspension, but ran out of time to do so. I have stockpiled a ton of extra new parts to complete this job that go with the sale including shocks, ball joints, bushings, inner and outer tie rods, sleeves, control arms, pitman arm, idler arm, and hardware. Also have new oil pan gasket w/ hardware, trans pan gasket w/ hardware, valve cover gaskets w/ hardware, original style exhaust manifolds with new gaskets and hardware, original style hood, used sun pro tach, new Chrysler date coded ignition wires, new wheel lip moldings, new Chrysler OEM style key blanks, new AMD rear quarter patch panels, and probably more stuff I'm forgetting. I will update this listing as I come across more.

Asking $18,500 OBO with extra parts listed above...or $17,000 OBO without.
Located in York, Pennsylvania

I will try to post a video of start up and running within the next few days. Please ask any questions you may have and I'll do my best to answer them. Don't hesitate to ask for any additional pictures or details. Thanks for looking!
