Can someone tell me what the differences are between a 1968 Coronet 500 and the other versions of the 1968 Coronet?

Saw one for sale recently.

Thanks!

It’s mostly the trim package… Has the nicer interior and exterior trim which include the R/T taillights and similar rear finish panel… I have a 68 500 ragtop.

1968 Coronet 500 will be similar options to Coronet RT , just without the 440 or hemi power train

Nicer door panels , Bucket seats . upgraded exterior trim etc etc etc

Coronet 440 and Superbee will be lower level trim, bench seat , plain interior / exterior trim door panels etc etc etc

Thanks for the info. Do you know if the coroner 500 could be had with the bumblebee tail stripe?

Also, was the 318 the biggest engine for it?

Thanks

A 383 also was available and I have never seen one with an original bumblebee tail stripe...

383-4 barrel was the largest engine option.

Standard bucket seats.
