Hello Everyone, I am new to mopars and I just bought a 1968 coronet. It needs a total restoration, lots of metal work but I think it is pretty cool and worth bringing back. If anyone can tell me where is the best place to buy parts, used and new I would appreciate it. I am on the eastcoast and would like to get with people who are into this cars. Right off the bat I need a rear trunk lid. Anyone know where I might be able to get a good used one? Thanks, rustymetal

Trunk lid is a tough part to get. No one repro them yet, except in fiberglass. All I can suggest is start looking on Craigzoom.com and see who selling one.

Keep in mind on other year will work. A 69 key lock is not in the lid like a 68, and a 67 is just a totally dfferent body style.

I do have my old trunk lid that I took off if you can't find one. It not dented up, just the previous owner cut up part of the inside supports digging out a mouse nest.
Look at it on the photio gallery under 1968 coronet 500 under my name. iraqivet01
(don't have a picture of the inside, but do have some of the rear of the car where a repair was made)

welcome to the site. rust free 68 coronet trunk lids are hard to find & pricey still looking for one.

Hi there, Welcome to the site! I'm new myself, but these guys sure now how to make a fella feel at home. Send some pics, as I have a 1968 Coronet myself and never tire looking at others.
Have a great day!
Ben
