Hey guys, im trying to remove the dash pad out of my 68 satillite. Is there nuts or screws that hold it on?

There are 6 (if I remember correctly) 3/8" nuts on the back side. Take out the glove box liner and radio to make the job easier. You will need a 1/4" flex extension to help matters. And some dum-dum to hold the nuts in the socket for putting the new one on.

Where does one buy extra screws to replace the ones I know I'm bound to drop when trying to put them back?

Hunts the man with the plan, that's the best way to do it short of pulling the dash. Also don't forget to have some colorful language ready. Good luck!

The nuts on the back of the gauge cluster are #10-32. thought they would also work for the back of the dash pad; same diameter, but different threads (nuts for the dash pads have less threads per inch).
