For sale is a 1968 Dodge Coronet 440 2 door Hardtop. It is an original 318 automatic car. It comes with what I believe to be the original engine and transmission. It has an 8 3/4 rear axle and 4 wheel manual drum brakes. It has new tires, exhaust, shocks, and brakes. The original color is Burgundy Poly and it has the Dark Red Interior. The previous owner took the car apart to have the body and paint done and then decided to sell it. I purchased it from him with the intent to restore it after I finished my current project but do to time restraints I've decided to sell it. This is a solid project car. It will need trunk drop downs and at least partial quarters as well as a partial fender patch. The under body, doors, hood, firewall, etc.... are in solid condition. The dash looks nice. The previous owner bagged and tagged all the parts that he removed and they will come with the car. Also included is pretty much a new interior including front and back upholstery, front and back door panels and arm rest, headliner, inner window trim, and carpet (all in red).The interior parts are brand new and still in their boxes, all from Dante's Mopar Parts. I added up the parts on Dante's Website and they totaled about $2,500. Also,it is a bench seat car. Both front and rear benches are included. The previous owner told me the car was a complete running and driving car when he disassembled it and all the original parts are there. I have not verified that but it appears to be accurate. I'm asking $8,000. I don't need to sell it but if I get a reasonable offer, I will.
