All the sheet metal is in place and I have collected a full set of glass. It’s slow going. MUCH cheaper to find one complete. It’s constantly $1k for this and $1k for that…

Why is the paint labeled Forest Green Metallic? 1968 had two dark greens GG1 Racing Green Metallic and 66-1 Dark Green Metallic. The 66-1 was carried over to 69 as F8 according to the chips sheet, but GG1 appears to be a one year only color.

It sure does. My car looks black at night under lights. When the sun hits it, it looks amazing even with its original factory paint.The Fender Tag decode called it Racing Green Metallic. When I sent the request for the paint code G, they assured me it was the same color just a different name.
The one thing with metallic paints is that they look different depending on the lighting. This picture is in the sunshine:
